Step 2: Selecting a Registered Agent

A Registered Agent is a man or business that consents to send and get lawful papers in the interest of your LLC. Such papers have the service of legal action if one is used and multiple state filings.

Step 3: File the Articles of Organization:
Firstly, file your Articles of Organization with Florida Divisions of Corporation. You can either file it on the online portal or via mail.
The forms must include the following information:
- The name of the LLC and address
- Your registered agent name, the address, and signature
- Effective date, if other than the date filed
- Name, address and title of members and/or managers

Step 4: Creating an Operating Agreement
Create an operating agreement. This operating agreement contains the terms that were agreed to by the individuals from the LLC and administers such basic things as the jobs of every member, voting rights, who manages the LLC, etc. This is not compulsory for LLCs in Florida to have a limited liability company operating agreement, it is better to have one with other members should your LLC have more than one member. The limited liability Company operating agreements are recognized by Florida as governing documents.

- In the case of LLCs, annual reports are filed online between January 1 and May 1.
